Last Friday my latest work "Krakralucha Park" was presented to the public during the Zuiderfestival, Enschede.
Afgelopen vrijdag is mijn werk "Krakralucha Park" gepresenteerd aan het publiek tijdens het Zuiderfestival te Enschede. 12 x 3 x 0,20 m. LED strips, aluminium profiles, concrete, motion detectors. More info: http://www.petervink.nl/krakralucha-park.html Petra Hudcova and Peter Vink have both worked in a wasteland territory of Enschede (Krakralucha Park) for the period of two months. They were commissioned by the artists initiatives Studio Complex & Hangarrrrrr to develop site specific sculptures. They had a chance to observe the biodiversity and culture of this unique unoccupied and uncultivated urban space and created work in response to their stay. Their work will be presented during the Zuiderfestival which will take place on 25 August and 26 August.
I am currently doing an artist in residence at Studio Complex & Hangarrrrrr in Enschede together with the artist Petra Hudcova. I will build a new installation in the sculpture park Krakralucha located next to the artist community. Opening end of August!
